It was a delight to host the recital of Gabriella Zelek on the afternoon of Saturday, Nov 12th at Lumonics. Gabriella played soprano, alto, and tenor sax, accompanied by her bandmates. The recital included classical and jazz.

3 of hundreds of hand-painted slides by Dorothy and Mel Tanner created between 1969 until Mel's passing in 1993. These slides were enlarged to cover a large wall over the years during light and sound performances at Lumonics.

The photos below are examples of some of the source material we use at Lumonics Immersed. They are still images from our projection. It begins with making videos while on our rides and hikes in Colorado: mountains, streams, forests, and roads. We then transform the imagery in production, and add an original soundtrack. We think of it as “alchemized nature films”. No AI is involved!
